SAP FI Specialist
Part-time SAP FI specialist for a public-sector organization in Tel Aviv — ongoing optimization and customization of an S/4HANA system in line with evolving financial processes.
About the role
Our client, a public-sector organization in Tel Aviv, is seeking a highly skilled SAP FI specialist to join their implementation team. You will play a key role in supporting the ongoing optimization and customization of their SAP system, ensuring it aligns with evolving financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the cross-functional implementation team, managing modules including FI, SD, MM and CO
- Analyze and address new development requests and system issues
- Develop detailed functional and technical specifications for process improvements
- Work effectively with development and testing teams to ensure project deliverables
- Lead and manage assigned projects independently
Requirements
- Proven experience in crafting comprehensive technical and functional specifications, as well as detailed user documentation — mandatory
- In-depth understanding of standard SAP functionalities with the ability to tailor them to meet specific needs
- Experience implementing/developing SAP FI modules, particularly in an S/4HANA environment — mandatory
- Familiarity with financial processes and systems within government organizations — highly desirable
- Prior experience writing specifications for web-based applications — advantage
- Experience working in large organizations, especially within the public sector — advantage
